Sifu Jack Kontou is our head instructor and the founder of JKWC. He was trained and certified under Grandmaster Victor Kan (student of the Late Grandmaster Yip Man) and successfully opened & ran Grandmaster Victor Kan’s first authorised branch in London during 19xx-19xx.
35+ Years of experience in the Wing Chun System.
Grade Eight, Black Belt and qualified instructor under Grandmaster Victor Kan.

Our Renovation.
In late 2017 our great friends over at Fordon Builders Ltd helped give JKWC an entire upgrade bringing our main HQ facility into the modern era. We could not be happier with the result! Come visit our new school now!
HBO’s WARRIOR.
JKWC had the pleasure of teaching Wing Chun and preparing rising star Andrew Koji prior to filming for his lead role in (formerly Cinemax’s) WARRIOR.
Set in late 1870s San Francisco and based on the writing of Bruce Lee, WARRIOR follows the story of Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy who emigrates from China in search of his sister, only to be sold to one of the most powerful gangs in Chinatown.

Our goal at JKWC is to learn a skill through the traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu system and develop a strong base foundation of martial art which is then applied into modern world usages. This unique ability is aimed to be passed down to our future generation, teaching an individual that they can accomplish all their goals from a strong will and desire instilled by a martial arts life-style.
